Privacybeleid

Privacy policy
Last updated: 7 November 2026
Klink is a sudoku game by Koen van der Borght. Klink collects no data. It has no account, ads, analytics or tracking, and the app sends nothing to a server of its own. There is no such server.
Your game
Your progress lives in a file on your device. With iCloud on, Klink keeps a copy in iCloud key-value storage on your own Apple Account, so you can carry on playing on your other devices. Only you can read that copy; I can't. Start over in Settings replaces the game on your device and in iCloud. The widget reads your daily sudoku and streak from a shared folder on the same device.
You can export your game as a file yourself in Settings. You choose where that file goes.
Game Center
When you are signed in to Game Center, Klink sends your trophies and three scores to Apple: your daily sudoku time, your longest streak and your stars. Klink shows your Game Center name and the leaderboards. Game Center is an Apple service, covered by Apple's privacy policy. Signed out, Klink sends nothing.
Camera and photos
In Sudoku from paper you can take or pick a photo. Klink reads the digits on your device and doesn't keep the photo, only the sudoku's digits. Klink reads what you write with Apple Pencil on your device too. Klink only sees the photo you pick yourself.
Purchase
Klink Complete is a one-time App Store purchase. Apple handles the payment. Klink only learns from Apple whether the purchase is active and never sees your payment details.
Reminder
If you allow it, Klink schedules a reminder on your device at 19:00 when your streak is at risk. Your device sends that notification, not a server.
Sharing
A card with your daily result is only shared when you tap Share yourself, through the iOS share sheet.
Crash reports
If you turned on Share with App Developers on your device, Apple sends me anonymous crash reports and usage figures. They come from Apple, not from Klink, and don't say who you are.
Children
Klink is suitable for children. Because Klink collects nothing, it collects nothing about children either.
